Seeing peas seedlings pop up through the soil says summer is on it’s way.  But it also means it’s time to do battle with the bamboo canes for a spot of garden engineering.  My original plan this year was to construct some obelisks and paint them in bright colours but alas the peas arrived too soon so bamboo canes will have to suffice for the moment.  I’ve been busy planting out in the kitchen garden so we’ll be back in full production soon.
