It’s all go in our fledgling orchard.  The trees are growing having blossomed and are now enjoying a spot of sun.  I was pretty flabbergasted to notice today that one of our trees has actually born fruit.  Yes, that’s what suposed to happen in an orchard but I didn’t think we’d get anything in this first year.

If you look real close you can see a couple of apples.

They may be small but they are beautifully formed.

I am excited that there is fruit and can’t wait till they grow big enough to be picked.  It will be a wee while yet before we can do that but when the time comes you can be sure I’ll be telling the whole of the internet about it!
