“Be careful for what you wish for” is a cliché that has fitted perfectly for a couple of work assignments this week. Where people have battled long and hard to get something they want. Having got what they wished for it dawns on them that they should... People talk about nurturing seedlings like they are babies. They are of course baby plants so that make sense.  They also talk about the excitement when they see them grow. I can always do with a little excitement here at Domestic Executive HQ. I wish I could remember a time when I could happily snuggle up under the duvet and turn over to go back to sleep. Time for snoozing in a relaxing carefree way. I keep asking myself where did those days go to?  Nowadays my eyes seem to pop open wide on waking and... My local timber merchant’s yard is feeling like a second home. Riffling through wood piles to find the straightest pieces of wood or sitting in the sun with one of the lads as we fathom out how much of what I need to bring my scribbles on a piece of paper...
