Colder than your fridge was the weather warning for the overnight frosts. They were wrong. It was colder than a freezer. The gates were frozen tight and the car completely frosted. No self respecting person lingered outside too long.
So imagine my annoyance when the neighbours kept catching my eye as the sun came up this morning. I kept looking and thinking that’s a nice picture. Shame it’s far to cold to venture out again. In the end commonsense prevailed – possum hat, gloves, thermal socks, fleece and scarf – now I was ready to snap the morning view. And since I was rugged up the bassets and I did outside chores before finishing up a photo shoot of the morning frost. More on that tomorrow!
Hope you in the northern hemisphere are enjoying warmer times.
I LOVE this photo! It certainly was freezing this morning, but calm too. I ended up wrapping up too and getting out to make the most of the clear sky. I wanted to take the good camera, but was rather laden down with Alice and a bag of essentials, so I just took some snaps and enjoyed the scenery in the end. Will be blogging later; just sitting with Sophie waiting for her to go to sleep, whilst Alice is feeding to sleep in my arms! Thank goodness for my iPhone!
