Regular readers will remember I blogged about a wonderful little chap whose been fighting off leukemia.
You can read about his story so far here. And here. And here.
Despite his sunny disposition and making excellent progress we got word from Seth’s Dad that he’s back on chemotherapy and facing his biggest challenge yet.
On Easter Sunday this cool kid will have stem cell transplant to replace his sick bone marrow. Then it’s a waiting game. If all goes well this transplant will grow new healthy bone marrow.
There will be a battle between the new healthy cells and Seth’s own cells. This will be a gruelling fight for him but his cheerful disposition and determination to fight this gives us all hope for a successful result.
Just look how he manages to smile and smile despite all that’s thrown at him.
This is one determined little boy. But it is the advances in treatment based on research and a life giving bone marrow register that is giving him the best possible chance of recovery.
If you want to help Seth and other little boys like him please do two things.
- Register for the Bone Marrow Register
- Give a donation – they need all the money they can to learn more so they can treat better
Seth has his own campaign going. His family, friends and colleagues of his parents are busy raising money towards this campaign. They have done brilliantly raising over 18,000 GB pounds. Please give to Seth’s campaign too.
Please consider forgoing your Easter eggs this coming weekend and give something to Seth’s campaign.
By doing this you’ll be helping this cool kid and many others like him. You can of course say a prayer or special wish. Seth, his sister Nancy, and his mum and dad need all the support they can get right now.
